Ok, another busy week, so not much posting :( However, I WILL catch up on everything on here, picnics, barbeques, and various other things. I promise. But for now, you'll just get this week's share of music:
5. Statistics - Madina Lake
Yes, their album still totally bedazzles me everytime i hear it, so I'll just post my favourite song on it at the moment. I like this song for the same reason i like most of madina lake's songs: awesome tune, awesome lyrics.
Good Lyrics:
"You're a wolf, you are dressed like a fox, got me tied up in knots over you"
"I've been wrong so many times,
Let's be realistic,
I'm only a statistic to you,
And it hurts so deep inside,
Maybe I'm sadistic,
I love what you've inflicted to me"
"I just caught you like a disease
It's terminal, and I'm going down
But you're a fate that's worse than death
And I've got to get out of this mess
You're a wolf, you are
You are"
4. Damn Regret - The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
This is another of those songs that i like, but i don't know why, catchy tune and lyrics i guess :p
Good Lyrics: "The moon is shining bright,
The mood is feeling right.
I'll kiss you on your neck,
People'll stare but we won't care."
3.I Am For You - Waking Ashland
What've we got here then? A catchy intro, a decent pace, good tune, and a chorus which means something to me. Perfect.
Good Lyrics:
"Don't give up, you're not thinking
Don't give up, just keep seeking
And I, I am for you
And I, I will love you
And I, I am for you
And I, I will save you"
2.Slowdance On The Inside - Taking Back Sunday
We've missed the week that this song would've been number one but this week brought it all back. I've always imagined some kind of prom when i hear this song, and this IS prom week, so this is technically my official prom song :p Good Parts are the chorus and the chant at the end, and the tune is always good for me.
Good Lyrics: "[Chorus]
Well cross my heart and hope to
I'm lyin' just to keep you here
So reckless, oh (so reckless)
so thoughtless (so thoughtless),so jealous
I could care less
Cross my heart and hope to
I'm lyin' just to keep you here(so reckless)
Well I'll keep you here
(so thoughtless)
I...
(I could care less)"
"Tonight won't make a difference"x10
1. We'll Be Okay - Madina Lake
Yes, this chart finally makes sense! My favourite band have FINALLY stormed this list :p Okay, this song's been helping me at the moment because I've been really paranoid about losing lots and lots of people at the end of the year, and the chorus of this song makes me feel a lot better about it. I advise everyone with that worry has a listen.
"The night is long over, but we're all still wide awake.
Huddled together,
just oping this moment won't fade away.
The sunlight makes it's way up the field toward us again
marking the end of this.
Because everyone's going their separate ways,
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
Carved out our love
and we all broke our hearts together.
These are the times that define who we are forever.
It's hard to leave
you're just memories that I'm thinking of
that mark the end of this.
Because everyone's going their separate ways,
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
And sometimes it's hard when everything changes.
Sometimes it feels like the world is unfolding.
This is when the impossible becomes possible.
It's hard to leave,
you're just memories that I'm thinking of
that mark the end of this.
Because everyone's going their separate ways,
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
So unafraid, we hadn't lived.
We'll be okay.
Without a care in the whole world.
We'll be okay."

Fashion
Ok, not posted for entire weekend so will give quick rundown, on sunday i had to drag Nichola to town on an emergency prom trip, as the gay but not quite gay best friend i decided it was my job to help her get her dress ASAP. Because i'm slightly camp, i was thinking of Eleanor's red and so instantly thought a creme would suit the occasion nicely, and so we got hunting. After about 30 minutes of combined changing time, we found something. Sorted. In other news, I'm quite hyper.

Top 5
Ok, first thing's first, I'm sorry I've not posted since tuesday, it's been a really busy week. Second thing's second, I know it's technically saturday, but i've not slept so i'm counting this as Friday.
This week's list was looking pretty good, until thursday, when i got my new Madina Lake album, and it's amazing!!! so, there are two lists, the old one and the new one, here's the new one:
1.Through The Pain - Madina Lake
2. Criminals - Madina Lake
3. Never Take Us Alive - Madina Lake
4. Welcome To Oblivion - Madina Lake
5. Let's Get Outta Here -Madina Lake
Ok, here's the old one for you guys :P
5. Becoming the bull - Atreyu
I'll keep this short, this is the only song i like these guys, i'm not really sure why and i don't have any lyrics, just listen to it :p
4.The missing frame - AFI
God knows how long this song was in my playlist, but i only discovered it this week, fantastic, isn't it? Again, i haven't really been paying attention to lyrics :p
3. Hey there Delilah - Plain white t's
Everyone knows this song, so i guess i don't need to write too much about it. It's the plain white t's second venture into my top five and i think it's perfectly worthy. However, i'm not that into the chorus, the verses on the other hand, are beautiful.
Cool lyrics: All of the verses, just listen to it :D
2. Hold on for your dearest life - Name Taken
This song was stuck in my head for at least four hours before i found it in my playlist, which makes it pretty good :p the only line i can remember on my own is "take what you want from me" (It's sung amazingly) which is how i found the song name, so that's the only lyric i'll put, listen to it!
1. There's a class for this -Cute is what we aim for
I know this week's not been as serious as before, but that's because i've been pretty damn busy with everything i wish i didn't have to do, this song stuck with me throughout (until i got the madina lake album). The lyrics are pretty cool and they sound good too, however, i don't really like the "party without the people" bit, not as good as the rest. Sorry guys, I promise it'll be more serious next week (but a list's a list!).
Lyrics: Whatcha got now, gotta gotta give it up
Whatcha got now, gotta gotta give it up
Whatcha got now
Whatcha got now
We keep ourselves a mystery
But we provide, provide the clues
So the rest is up to you
And don't forget to check the obvious
We are so serious
So I guess it comes down to how curious you can be
Whatcha got now, gotta gotta give it up
Whatcha got now, gotta gotta give it up
Whatcha got now
Whatcha got now
Drama doesn't follow me, it rides on my back
I may be ugly, but they sure love to stare
Drama doesn't follow me, it rides on my back
I may be ugly, but they sure, but they sure,Love to stare
And you check labels more than the FCC
And these calories are, are killing me
But this is a sticky situation
So keep your chest in the game
And drop your jaw and coax me
Whatcha got now, gotta gotta give it up
Whatcha got now, gotta gotta give it up
Whatcha got now
Whatcha got now
Drama doesn't follow me, it rides on my back
I may be ugly, but they sure love to stare
Drama doesn't follow me, it rides on my back
I may be ugly, but they sure, but they sure
This is a party without the people
This is a show without the sound
This is a dance without the steps
Now I gave you the clues so find what I found
This is a party without the people
This is a show without the sound
So I gave you the clues
So find what I found
Drama doesn't follow me, it rides on my back
I may be ugly, but they sure love to stare
Drama doesn't follow me, it rides on my back
I may be ugly, but they sure love to stare

Friday
Friday was important to me. Why? Because it was unexpected.
Normal day, really stressy because it was my final deadline for my food technology coursework so i spent about three hours on it. I was lying around at about half past five and i decided to text Emma, because i was really bored :p After a few texts, I was asked to go to the cinema with her and Karolina, which i really didn't expect. About an hour later i had recovered from the shock, gathered some cash and was ready to go.
When i got there, it was two minutes before the film was supposedly gonna start, so i just got my tickets and went in, satisfied with the fact that the screen would be nearly empty because of the convenient opening of the Hannah Montana film :) Obviously there was about 20 minutes of shit trailers before anything happened, so i was really pissed off that i didn't get a coke and some revels, luckily Emma loved revels too, so I got one out of two :D
It was a great night, because I really didn't expect it all to happen, i had fun and there was a really good atmosphere between the three of us. It's been a long time since I've been in an atmosphere without tension, I found it really easy to just relax and have no fear of anything going wrong or anything bad being said, it just gave me that warm feeling I've missed for so long because of coursework or arguements or something.
The film? Oh, 17 Again, three reasons to watch it? OK:
1. Zac Effron doesn't sing! (and he actually does a pretty good job of acting)
2. Thomas Lennon (the german guy from balls of fury) plays his geeky best friend, and he rocks! 3. Surprisingly, it's actually a really good film, it has a good comedy factor, and actually has this really good fight scene, ok, so the ending's not great, but hey, i expected it to be crap, so i'm happy.
So yeah, it was an awesome night, thanks to Emma and Karolina for letting me come along, it was really cool =D

Top 5
5. What it is to burn - Finch
This song grabbed me from the first time I heard it. I'm not sure why, so i'm just gonna advise you guys to check it out.
Good Lyrics:
"Like a bad star,
I'm falling faster down to her.
She's the only one
who knows what it is to burn."
4. I'd hate to be you when people find out what this song is about - Mayday parade
I think the chorus of this song is beautiful, even though the title isn't :p it catches me every time with the intro, because it sounds so lovelyyyyy...
Good lyrics:
"And we both go down together
We'd stay there forever
Just try to get up
And I'm sorry this wasn't easy
When I asked you
Believe me
And never let go"
3. The Pirates who don't do anything - Relient K
Punk Rock Piracey! What else can i say? that's it, it's a good jokey song to listen to and it's good punk too. It gets ridiculously stupid towards the end which just makes it even more fantastic to hear. However, the best part is the intro, which is a barbershop quartet style intro, but with "argh"s!
Good Lyrics:
"We are the pirates, who don't do anything
We just stay at home, and lie around
And if you ask us to do anything
We'll just tell you, we don't do anything"
"And I never hoist the mainstay
and I never swab the poop deck
and I never veer to starboard
'cuz I never sail at all,
and I've never walked the gang plank
and I've never owned a parrot
and I've never been to Boston in the fall."
"Well I've never plucked a rooster
and I'm not too got at ping pong
and I've never thrown my mashed pa-taters up against the wall,
and I've never kissed a chipmunk
and I've never gotten head lice
and I've never been to Boston in the fall."
"We don't know what he did, but we're down with Captain Kidd
We don't wake up late for lunch, but we all eat Captian Crunch
We don't smoke, we don't chew, but we watch Captain Kangaroo"
"And I've never licked a spark plug,
and I've never sniffed a stink bug,
and I've never painted daisies on a big red rubber ball,
and I've never bathed in yogurt
and I don't look good in leggings...
and I've never been to Boston in the fall!"
2. True Love - Madina Lake
And about time! If you asked me my favourite band, Madina Lake is the first that comes to mind, their lyrics are so amazing and the way they're executed are spellbounding. I love them.
I like this song for two reasons, the first is that the intro catches me for some reason I don't know, the second is the chorus, which gets me every time!
Good Lyrics:
[Chorus]
"They always say true love is all you need,
But when true love is gone,
Can we go onnnn?
They say true love will never leave,
But my true love is gone,
And I can't go onnnn"
1. Saturday - Fall Out Boy
Fall Out Boy?! How could it possibly happen?! Because it's nothing like the crap they're spawning now, that's why. It's from their first album and it really means something to me, although, the verse after the first chorus is shit. :D
"I'm good to go
And I'm going nowhere fast
It could be worse
It could be taking you there with me
I'm good to go
But it looks like I'm still on my own
I'm good to go
For something golden
Though the motions I've been going through have failed
And I'm coasting on potential towards the wall
At a 100 miles an hour
When I say
Two more weeks
My foot is in the door (yeah)
I can't sleep In the wake of Saturday (Saturday)
Saturday
When these open doors were open-ended
Saturday
When these open doors were open-ended
Pete and I attacked the laws of Astoria
with promise and precision and mess of youthful innocence
And I read about the afterlife
But I never really lived more than an hour (more than an hour)
When I say
Two more weeks
My foot is in the door (yeah)
I can't sleep In the wake of Saturday (Saturday)
Saturday
When these open doors were open-ended
Saturday
When these open doors were open-ended
And I read about the afterlife
But I never really lived
And I read about the afterlife
But I never really lived
Two more weeks
My foot is in the door
Me and Pete
In the wake of Saturday
Saturday
When these open doors were open-ended
Saturday
When these open doors were open-ended
Saturday
Saturday"

Can't Sleep
Time for a quick lesson in adamology:
I can't sleep at all when i worry, it keeps me awake for hours. What am i worrying about? Losing a friend...
I sound like a pansy, but it will haunt me for weeks that i failed to keep one person around, i hate it.
I'd understand if I had actually done something wrong, but I haven't! I'm being stereotyped and it's horrible. I've done bad things to a lot of people, but not the people I've lost. I've done so many bad things to Emma, I don't really understand why she still talks to me, even if i never meant to cause trouble...And even when i DO do bad things, i never mean for them to be bad...
One of my biggest fears is losing a friend, and it really messes with my head, and i don't wanna lose this person at all, because it'll destroy me. I just can't stand the thought of losing ANOTHER person.
I'm scared.
I admit that i'm scared. I wont hide it behind some curtain that tells you "I'm not afraid to lose a friend," because i fucking am.
Everyone always tells me that i'm sensitive, am I too sensitive?
I can't sleep. Not tonight.
